The Bad Times AI pet video shows a dog or cat standing on its hind legs, pawing at the air and "arguing" with the camera in a 15-second close-up, and Bad Times Dance AI makes it from one photo. It was the first big wave of AI remakes. Make yours.
What is the pet version of Bad Times?
It is the same six-beat routine as the original trend: head grab, wave-off, stop palm, walk-in and finger in the lens, performed by a pet. A dog rears up, paws wave, and the close-up ends with the animal mouthing at the viewer. The format spread because the humour is instant, and an owner only needs a photo of their pet.
This clip was made from a single photo on Bad Times Dance AI.
Which dances are for pets?
- Dog or Cat: one dog or cat, 15 seconds.
- Pet Duo: two pets in one photo, 15 seconds.
Both include the original song audio. Pricing is the same as for people: 10 credits on the Standard model at 720p. See pricing. There is no free tier.
Which pet photo works best?
- Show the whole animal, not a tight face crop, so the model can build the standing pose.
- Face the camera with eyes visible and good light; a dark coat in a dark room loses its markings.
- For two pets, place them side by side with both faces clear.
- A collar or outfit in the photo appears in the video, so choose it on purpose.
- Keep people out of the frame so only the pet dances.
Why do pets sometimes get human fingers, and what happens then?
AI video models learned the routine from human hands, so in the paw close-up they sometimes draw fingers on a paw. The pet dances in Bad Times Dance AI tell the model to keep paws as paws, which reduces it but cannot remove it. If it happens, render again. A failed render returns its credits, though credit packs themselves are not refundable. The prompt side is explained on the prompt page, and the steps are in how to make the video. For the song, see Imael Angel and Bad Times.
